North east based British photographer turned beauty expert Laura Cranston has been using her blog, Girl Talk With Laura, to prove that London doesn’t have monopoly on big fashion and beauty news.

Staying true to her roots in Newcastle, Cranston has been showcasing the city’s best travel, beauty and fashion finds since 2013, amassing nearly 18,000 Instagram followers along the way. Not afraid to tackle slightly more controversial issues, the beauty expert recently underwent Botox - documenting and photographing the procedure along the way for her readership – but is perhaps best known for her work with major beauty brand Benefit, who often feature her daily make-up looks on their social media pages.
